The cast resin sign of the Atari logo has sequenced lights and sounds. Starting slowly, the lights and sounds operate faster and faster as the sequence progresses until the climax where the display goes dark for a moment - and then plays a "game over" like theme. The sequence is controlled via microcontroller and repeats every few minutes.
