The viewer is initially attracted to the words yes or no. The microcontroller is programmed to flash one of these words on the viewers eye revealing an answer.

Click here to download a Yes No dashboard widget for Mac OS-X. When the dashboard is opened the virtual Yes No sign will randomly display either yes or no. The download will contain a .dmg disk image which you open in the Finder. It will contain a file called "Yes No.wdgt". Double-click on this file to install into the dashboard. Visit the Apple website to find out more about dashboard widgets.

The hallway is continuously monitored by an ultrasonic range-finder. When a person enters the hallway, the spot light illuminates them as if to accuse them of something. The speakers then emit either "Yes" or "No" as a final verdict.
